What legacy will you leave as a student of Palm Beach State?
On September 10, 2013, Palm Beach State College hosted a special ceremony dedicated to the past students and faculty of Roosevelt Jr. College. There were 8 past faculty/students in attendance. The PBSC Library developed The Roosevelt Junior College Oral History Project to commemorate the years before it merged with Palm Beach Junior College. The guests were interviewed and asked about what it was like to be a student or faculty member. Each were honored with a personal portrait created by Palm Beach State College student Geansli Joseph, who donated his time and talent. It was really great to meet everyone and to hear a little history of the College. Now united at Palm Beach State College, I believe we are one of the most diverse state colleges I have yet to see.

This opens up the question…
How will you pave a way for the future of Palm Beach State College? Geansli Joseph paved a way by creating the beautiful portraits of the faculty/student from Roosevelt Jr. College. He helped preserve history by expressing his talent through art.
What Legacy will you leave as a student of Palm Beach State? My Legacy as Student Trustee is to make sure that we are more united as a College, not divided by campus.
